Gardisette is your brand for voiles since 1952
Four years after the currency reform, the idea was to create a range of voiles which offers the customer solutions for care and decoration problems. New fibre developments were created along with the corresponding machines.
SYNTHETIC FIBRE WELL RECEIVED
With the first synthetic fibre curtains in the 1950s, the Gardisette brand became a symbol of a new, modern era. The popular fabrics lend a homely atmosphere to the home and considerably reduce the amount of maintenance required. Chic and at the same time almost light-insensitive and crease-resistant, voiles from Gardisette conquer the living rooms and the hearts of the young Federal Republic.
THE WOVEN-IN WEIGHTING TAPE
In the 60s, Gardisette launches room-high voiles with the first woven-in weighting tape. This became a quality mark for voiles at that time and is still remembered by many people today. Thanks to catchy advertising campaigns on television and in magazines, everybody knows: Tensioning and ironing? With "Gardisette Perfekt", the perfect voile, this is guaranteed to be unnecessary.
NEW DISTRIBUTION CHANNELS
This new path taken in the product range and the focus on one brand meant that the sales organisation also had to be restructured. For example, specialists with sales experience were employed on a regular basis and trained as sales consultants. It was important to think along with brand article categories and to support the trade partner in his sales efforts. Even today, Gardisette is only offered in specialist retail shops, specialist departments of department stores and specialist markets. The entire Gardisette collection is presented on a preselection system. Another advantage for the trade is the short delivery service for all designs.
The new market idea
Advertising and sales promotion became more and more important instruments so that the market idea could assert itself more and more. All possible advertising media are used to convey interesting product improvements with appealing advertising. Thus Gardisette was able to quickly gain profile and became the most important manufacturer brand in the home textile trade. This foundation, once laid, has stabilised Gardisette's great brand awareness to this day.
WE ARE AT HOME – RELAUNCH
In 2005 Gardisette became part of the JAB ANSTOETZ brand family. With its colourful design and well-established slogans, "Every bet ... Gardisette" stands for a long time for young living and affordable curtain quality. After the development of the last years towards a sophisticated living culture, Gardisette takes the next step in 2020 with the relaunch of the appearance. A new corporate design in gray gives the brand a much more modern look. The new brand promise is: WE ARE AT HOME. We look forward to inspiring you with joy, ease and reliability.
