Wandelbarkeit als oberstes Prinzip
Seit 1980 entwirft Georg Appeltshauser funktionale Möbel, die ihrem Besitzer ein Maximum an Flexibilität schenken. Im Zentrum seines gestalterischen Interesses steht die Mobilität und Wandelbarkeit der Objekte, die so immer wieder neue Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten zulassen. Im Bereich Funktionsmöbel hat Georg Appeltshauser bislang über 30 Innovationen zum Patent angemeldet, ein großer Teil davon wurde erteilt.
Für BW Bielefelder Werkstätten konzipierte der studierte Ingenieur und Produktdesigner unter anderem das variantenreiche Anbauprogramm Spirit, das grazile Eleganz und lässige Großzügigkeit auf faszinierende Weise in sich vereint.
