Daron

Hard shell, soft interior: This is promising the casual upholstered chair Daron

A chair like a hug: The distinctively shaped DARON seat literally hugs its owner and, together with the cuddly-soft seat upholstery, provides a feeling of security. The high backrest, which cuts out the surroundings, supports this impression and makes DARON into a very special place of retreat.
The clever relaxation mechanics provide the perfect chill-out zone. Almost invisible, it does not detract from DARON’s modern design in any way. Elegant leather and combinations of upholstery fabric underline the perfectly handcrafted finish of the chair, making it into a treasured, unique item in any living room.

Daron low

Highlight, resting place, faithful companion

DARON has many qualities and works both as a protagonist and in interaction with other design components. The generous seat shell and clever technology make it possible to change the sitting position and find the optimal posture. Kissy armrests turn the low version, into a cozy cocoon and a true oasis in hectic everyday life.

Schnabel, Schneider

THINKING THROUGH, THINKING LATERALLY, INSPIRING

Ever since their graduation from the College of Design in Schwäbisch-Gmünd Heike Schnabel and Markus Schneider have worked in the field of industrial design. The duo’s designs derive their great emotionality from the carefully thought through and coordinated details. The starting point of their creative work is the intensive analysis of the task at hand. This then serves as the basis for new approaches to the form and function of the object in question.

For BW Bielefelder Werkstätten the designers Schnabel and Schneider conceived the seating furniture and extension programme Saloni, which has been extended with matching coffee and side tables to create a harmonious ensemble.
